An attractive location where you can enjoy the vast natural surroundings of Urabandai Kogen. The main family trail has gentle slopes so beginners and families can ski at ease. Also in the ski center there is a day nursery which is open from 9:00 to 16:00 and after checking in you are free to use it whenever you want until the end of the day. The nursery fee is 1,500Yen. The board park, which is popular with snow boarders, is well equipped with items including boxes, jump platforms and 2 way kickers. It's not only skiing, snow shoe trekking is also a popular activity. There are trekking trails where you can enjoy views of the 'Yellow Fall', frozen waterfall, and the 'Akanuma', red pond, which are popular sightseeing spots that are unique to Urabandai and can be seen from January until late March. It's also possible to take lifts No.1 and No.2 in the descending direction from the trekking area.
